It feels like they only do surgery when the change is obvious from the outside. I brought photos because I wanted to make sure the area I was worried about came across clearly, but they said they couldn't look at something like that and didn't even check. They told me to keep living like this and come back if it gets more serious, but by then it feels like it might be too late to reverse, so I think I'll have to look for another hospital. If it doesn't show well from the outside when you visit, don't go.
