There is only one doctor at the clinic now, but five years ago, when I had my surgery, there were two, and I had mine with the doctor other than Dr. Kim Seon-gu. I strongly preferred a natural clinic because I really hated the artificial look of an operated nose, and this place suited my needs best at the time. There was also a separate anesthesiologist, and I visited five clinics on the day of my consultations; this one felt the most trustworthy, so I decided on it. The price was reasonable too. I have had no complications in the five years since, but right after surgery, something like cartilage began protruding inside my nostril. It never caused inflammation or major discomfort, so I have left it alone, although it sometimes bothers me. Immediately after surgery I was fairly satisfied with the line, but once the swelling went down, from about one month onward, the tip of my nose drooped and I became dissatisfied. If I could go back and choose again for my first surgery, I think I would use costal cartilage rather than septal cartilage, and I would want something more glamorous. Since I have a bulbous nose, the improvements may not be very visible, but people who already have a defined bridge and a pretty shape and only want to shave down a hump or make minor refinements might be a good match for this clinic. They couldn’t change my nose enough with such a natural style. After my rhinoplasty, nobody even knew I had surgery… haha. The doctor I saw seems to pursue subtle beautification: keeping the current shape of the nose from changing too much while correcting its shortcomings. For people whose needs match that, this could be the best clinic.
