Three months after my functional-rhinoplasty + aesthetic-rhinoplasty surgery. Left-side nasal blockage persists, and the right side feels like empty nose syndrome; the airflow is so strong that even my throat feels dry. Now that I'm looking at my pre-op CT, I can see that the left passage was originally narrow. Why didn't the doctor explain this before surgery? Do I have to study it myself as the patient and then ask before you'll answer? They used artificial materials without prior consent, and they used their own surgery method that hadn't been explained beforehand (it seems very dangerous and like it will cause problems within the next 10 to 20 years), and they didn't explain anything until I kept pressing them with questions. Then they said, "This is the surgical method I received." I'm so angry and hopeless because it can't be reversed. Before surgery, they explained it as if it were a very simple procedure. Even after surgery, seven hours had passed, and all they did was look at my face for one minute and say it went well. Only now, after I got my surgery record and started asking about everything, they finally admitted that everything I'd asked about had actually been done. In other words, my nose was modified a lot. I really didn't want to go to the hospital that morning on the day of surgery three months ago. I should have trusted that feeling and not ignored it.
