The consultation ended with a “you have to do it like this...” before I even had a chance to say anything, so I had nothing to say. In the end, surgery should be decided only when the doctor and patient agree, and I know the doctor is skilled, but I thought they were the type who just bulldozes ahead. I’ve been to clinics said to have stubborn doctors, but this was the worst. The moment I sat down, they lectured me, saying my eyes weren’t the kind that suit double eyelids well, and that I didn’t even want a high crease, yet a high crease would become sausage-like. Then in the end, they drew a somewhat ambiguous high crease for me.. After the consultation with the director, during the manager consultation, the consultation manager looked at my chart and said my eyes were “difficult? not easy?” and I found that a bit baffling. Whether the eyes are easy or hard, the surgeon is the one who has to do the operation well, and I came here because it was supposed to be a good clinic, so I wondered why they would say even that.. It wasn’t rude at all, actually quite polite, but it felt like overstepping.
