I personally visited three places for consultations, and had my final surgery at Kokoline. The most important thing for me was whether they would do the plastic surgery naturally. I disliked noses that looked collapsed or as if they had been pinched too much with tongs, so I preferred a natural line. In the end I chose Kokoline Clinic. First, because I already had fairly severe rhinitis, I checked several ENT specialist clinics too. If insurance coverage applied, it would be better to have the rhinitis surgery at the same time, so I looked around a lot and found two or three places I liked. But since places with many doctors make it hard to know who prefers what kind of nose, I practically ended up looking for a one-doctor clinic, and among those I came to consult at Kokoline because they favor natural results. The consultation coordinator and the front desk staff were all kind, and the doctor’s approach matched the kind of surgery I wanted best. Especially the nostrils were something I never even thought about, but among all the clinics this was the only place that said just lifting them slightly would make them look natural and not flare outward, which I liked. They said neither costal cartilage nor silicone was necessary, and that rhinitis surgery could be done at the same time, which I also liked. In particular, I liked that they don’t force themselves to do as many as three surgeries a day, and that after surgery you can stay comfortably in a private room before leaving. The facilities were clean, and during the consultation even the cotton swabs and tools were neatly organized in disposable bags, so I could immediately see the hygiene, which I liked. The surgery dates also matched well, and I was debating whether to keep looking elsewhere, but Kokoline seemed most satisfying, so I went ahead with the surgery right away.
