They clearly explained what was possible and what wasn't. They said they would do the surgery under sleep anesthesia, then local anesthesia, and operate after I woke up a bit, so I thought there wouldn't be any worry about a proxy surgery. I even tried holding a silicone nasal bridge up to my nose and things like that, but the consultation was really short. I don't think it even lasted 10 minutes.
