For 1 to 2 weeks I visited several well-known hospitals for removal and reconstruction to get my entire nose removed (for contracture), and this was the last consultation. There was a feeling of contracture and there could also have been inflammation, so I explained the situation to the director and scheduled the consultation as early as possible. At the consultation, the director was cynical, but spoke directly and said that capsule removal was the most important thing. Other places were recommending revision surgery or removing only the silicone, which was not the direction I wanted, and this place matched my needs. The chief director also knew the detailed medical information well and clearly explained the hospital's goal (returning to my original nose). The surgery took about 3 hours, and because the director was meticulous, it was done cleanly. There were additional costs for inflammation and necrotic bone, but being able to treat everything together when removing everything was good for me. It was under sedation plus local anesthesia, but there was no pain. It has only been 2 weeks since the surgery, so there is still swelling, but I am satisfied with the surgery overall. The director performed the surgery carefully and thoroughly, and the chief director and nurses were also kind.
