I had consultations at a total of four clinics before functional and cosmetic nasal surgery, and honestly this was the clinic I felt most certain about during the consultation. I don’t want to be greedy and want a natural shape, so they said we should do a closed procedure with bellflower injections and ear cartilage, and that a septoplasty wasn’t necessary. Unlike other places, they said that cutting the septum could cause functional problems, so they would perform the surgery by adding bone instead. But I had decided on surgery because I was thinking of lifting just the tip slightly with leftover cartilage from a septoplasty... so honestly, I’m a bit torn. After the consultation, I thought this clinic was different from the surgical method I had in mind, so I feel strongly drawn to it, but also a little cautious... I have a lot on my mind.
