I’m having a revision surgery because my buried double eyelid stitch from 17 years ago came loose, and due to the actual scar he recommended partial incision. Unusually, instead of both sides, he recommended only lifting the loosened side. I didn't like that because I was worried it would make my eyes uneven I wanted dual canthoplasty, but he honestly said my eyes probably wouldn't get a big enough effect from it, so he wouldn't recommend it, though he would do it if I still wanted it. I thought he was conscientious. But at another hospital, they said there was no need to remove the 17-year-old thread, that natural adhesion would be enough, and that dual canthoplasty was also possible, so I was confused and plan to consult a few more places
