It was my first surgery, so I didn't know about things like looking up reviews or visiting multiple clinics and just went ahead and had the surgery. Since I didn't know about complications either, I kept thinking maybe it was just supposed to feel uncomfortable and that it would get better with time. But after more than a year passed, I finally got fed up with the swelling that wouldn't go down and, while looking into revision surgery, I learned that it was a complication of ptosis correction. As soon as I found out, I booked a consultation and went in, but I was told that in cases like overcorrection, it's judged by angle criteria, so it didn't apply, and that it seemed like there was no need to undo the ptosis correction. They explained that symptoms like my eyes feeling pulled aren't visible, so that's why it was said it would get better with time, and I just let it go. But it's almost been two years and is it still supposed to be like this? I can let the mucosal eversion slide because I think nobody's perfect, but even when I put a little force into my eyes they feel pulled and heavy. Because of that, my eyes get tired, and I can't open them properly because of the pulling. It pulls so much that my head hurts too, and honestly, if I could just fix the eye-pulling feeling, I'd be willing to do anything. It's so hard. As for the line, I asked for it to be obvious like double eyelids, so maybe that's why I can't tell whether it's obvious, but even if I accept the swelling, my eyes still hurt so much.
