I had alar reduction, and for people whose alar skin is thick, scars will absolutely remain. If you have large pores, that area can stand out too. When I went to another hospital for a consultation, they said it was unfortunate that the scar from the alar reduction was so visible. The step difference has already set in, so it won't be treated well even with laser.
