Eye Surgery review at Rari (라리) · 2023-11-08

In 2017, I had a lateral canthoplasty with downward eye-corner correction, and it nearly ruined my life... After the surgery, I was overcorrected and the skin became ragged, so I had an early reconstruction at a plastic surgery clinic in Yongin. People say life gives you three chances, right? I worked in media, and before the lateral canthoplasty, a video of me uploaded by someone else on YouTube had already passed 7 million total views. I was planning to move into YouTube, and because I simply wanted bigger and longer eyes, I rushed into it without properly researching. After the surgery, my eyes didn’t get bigger; the skin looked torn and ragged. After the reconstruction, my eyes became even smaller than my original eyes, and I lost my self-esteem, so I still haven’t been able to try YouTube and ended up missing a major opportunity in my life. But then suddenly, maybe about a year and a half after the reconstruction? A younger acquaintance contacted me, saying they saw my eye photo on an online forum, and showed me a screenshot where someone had written a review pretending to be me... I called right away and told them to delete it, but they said they had posted it under the wrong name because they were confused. My name is really unusual, and I’ve never seen anyone around me with the same name. There are very few people with this name in Korea, and it had already been nearly two years since the surgery, so it was really out of nowhere. At that time, I had posted a public-interest warning about the side effects of lateral canthoplasty on another forum, and 400,000 views had already seen my eye photos, so I was completely shocked.
