Just like other reviews on this site say, if you ask questions, they act like "Do you know better than the doctor?" 5. If you later confront them about why they didn't tell you the precautions in 3, they say absurd things like, "You didn't ask, so we didn't tell you." 6. Just like the other reviews here, they have baseless confidence. And then later, if a problem happens, their story changes. The consultation is rude and they don't explain things in detail, but the context is similar to saying surgery can still be done. I trusted that confidence and had surgery. Big mistake. 7. If you look at doctors' opinions on the internet or YouTube, and if you actually go to other hospitals for consultations, they say that monolid surgery or monolid ptosis correction is absolutely not a surgery you should do, or that if you have monolid surgery, it is basically hard to create a double eyelid. (It's too long to write everything here, but if you search, there is information.) Even if it is done, they say the patient must be clearly informed in advance that it is hard to make it again. But here, even before surgery, if I asked whether a double eyelid could be undone and created again, they said okay. After surgery, though, when I went for consultations at other hospitals, they said it was impossible. There are also doctors' opinions and YouTube explanations online that say why it is hard to create a double eyelid after monolid surgery or monolid ptosis correction. After the monolid surgery, once I had fully recovered, eyes with a slight double eyelid looked much more open and better, so I went back to the hospital that did the monolid surgery to ask about making a double eyelid again. They said it could be made, but it wouldn't hold well, so they'd make it as thin as possible, and they wanted another $330. Since they were telling me to pay again and have surgery anyway, I felt uneasy and suspicious, so I went to other hospitals, and they all said the double eyelid surgery was not possible and sent me away. When I went back to the hospital that did the monolid surgery and argued about it, they had said at the other hospitals that making a double eyelid would be difficult, but when I asked how they could do it here, they changed their story again. They changed it to say the double eyelid wouldn't turn out pretty. But at the other hospital consultation, they said it wasn't just that it wouldn't look pretty; it would have to be forced and fixed strongly, and even then it would still come undone, so it couldn't be done. If it came undone, the scar would remain strongly and it would be even worse. They were going to do that while charging surgery fees x2, without saying anything, after I'd already paid hundreds in surgery costs. And they did not explain properly to a patient who would have paid another $330 and had surgery if I had not gone to other hospitals and asked. When I asked the questions described above, they acted like, "Do you know better than the doctor?" But if you don't know much or don't ask, they say, "You didn't ask, so we didn't tell you," as if that's normal. What kind of doctor says things like that? Whether the double eyelid surgery is impossible, or if they don't even charge the consultation fee and only ask for 10,000 to 20,000 won, other directors and consultants explain everything. Some consultants even had tears in their eyes, and some directors couldn't leave their seats because they felt so sorry. And yet they say things like, "There are hundreds of plastic surgery clinics in Gangnam. Have you gone to all of them and gotten diagnosed?" They say to go to 100 places. Of course it is impossible to go to all of them. At that point, the story had already changed from "a monolid surgery can still form a double eyelid" to "it doesn't really hold properly." They said one eye would be difficult. All the bad reviews other people wrote about this hospital are true. Everything I wrote above is also a real experience, and it was all recorded. Someone wrote that they have a merchant's mindset rather than a medical professional's mindset, and that's all true. If you put the reviews together, you can guess what kind of place it is. In conclusion, there are many good plastic surgery clinics, so please judge very carefully. Even at the first consultation, I went to ask about lowering the crease line. I naturally thought that even lowering the crease line would be a highly difficult surgery, so I didn't even know monolid surgery was possible. But when I asked about lowering the crease line, they cut me off completely and said my eyes didn't suit a double eyelid, so let's remove the double eyelid. And then, instead of precautions, they said that even if I removed it, I could make it again. All of that is on the recorder. Even six months ago, my eyes were not the kind of eyes that would be difficult no matter where I went, and in fact every hospital wanted me to come there, so it was hard to choose. That's why I ended up with this disaster. If they had explained clearly that with monolid surgery it is not really possible to create a normal double eyelid again, I would never have had the surgery. The important thing is that even though they had a duty to explain the surgery method, precautions, and so on, I ended up learning more by myself after being hurt. If I had known about this community, I would never have done it here. I was taken in by the doctor's lies and baseless confidence. Of course there are many revision surgery cases in plastic surgery for many reasons, so surgery can obviously be done again. But they acted as if they could do a surgery that might not even allow revision surgery at all, without any advance warning to the patient who trusted them, and they told me I could make a double eyelid again, causing confusion, and even after admitting that, they acted as if they had done nothing wrong. And if I had not gone to other hospitals for diagnosis, they would basically have gone ahead with surgery again without properly explaining that it would not really hold, that the chance of it coming undone was very high, and that if it came undone, the scar could remain visible. I cannot help but lament that they tried to carry out such a surgery again without any proper explanation. They performed a surgery that removes skin and sets a thin line above the eyelashes, with aftereffects so severe that revision surgery on the double eyelid would no longer be possible, and they did not properly warn me in advance. As I said above, there are many good places, so I recommend choosing a hospital carefully. Even before surgery here, they often say a surgery that other hospitals would not recommend can be done. And during consultation, they don't explain properly, and like in other reviews, they hold onto the reservation deposit or say they'll tell you before surgery... It's a huge hospital with the mindset that as long as they make money, that's enough. Their claim that they specialize in revision surgery is also a bluff and just a sales tactic to charge more.
