On January 23, 2024, I had a surgery for lateral canthoplasty, fat repositioning, and dissolving all filler, and I paid 4.18 million won for it. (The cost for dissolving the filler alone was 990,000 won.) However, after the surgery, one under-eye area where the fat was repositioned has kept swelling, and it's not just swelling because only one side is bulging. In bright places, dark places, and shadowed places, only one side is bulging and sticking out. At the clinic, they first insisted it was just swelling. As time passed after the lateral canthoplasty, both sides became uneven, with one side opened more and the other less. And lateral canthoplasty is supposed to lower the outer corner of the eye, but as time passed, my eyes gradually went back to how they were before surgery. My eye line rose again. Because they dissolved all the filler, the sagging became severe, so I've been going to get lifting treatments, and at every clinic I visit they ask why the under-eye area is bulging. I kept getting stressed, so I told the clinic that one under-eye area is too bulging and that I want the lateral canthoplasty to be adjusted so both sides match better, and they just said to come in first. I was so stressed and depressed that when I revisited the clinic, they suddenly cut me off and said I should pay for any revision, and that the bulge in the under-eye area after fat repositioning is not swelling but the amount left because they didn't dissolve the filler properly.. I had thought all this time it was swelling, so I felt completely stunned and like I was going crazy. They also said I should pay if I want revision for the lateral canthoplasty. They kept talking only about extra costs, and in the middle of a consultation where I couldn't see any effort to understand the patient's needs or sincerity, the doctor said, 'Are you angry at me?' and 'If you're going to act like this, I can't help you,' then walked out while talking, lol. It was the first time in my life I'd seen such an irresponsible doctor, and the way they responded was shocking too. I was dumbfounded by the sudden behavior. And to tell a patient who came for revision because the surgery was done poorly to pay for it.. They also said that fillers may not dissolve all at once only now, but the cost for dissolving the filler alone was 990,000 won, lol. Back then they also said it would dissolve all at once because they barely diluted the saline, but now the story has changed.. That day they told me to either dissolve only the under-eye area again and then leave or not, so I had it dissolved once more, but even after time has passed, it is still the same now.. In fact, because of the dissolving, most of the nasolabial filler I had gotten one week earlier disappeared, so I had to spend money again to get nasolabial filler re-done. My under-eye area is still swollen, and the lateral canthoplasty (lowering the outer corner of the eye) is uneven, and one eye line has gone up a lot, so it's no different from before.. lol When I went to a lifting clinic a week later, they recommended fat repositioning from another clinic. I had fat repositioning surgery in January, and then got recommended fat repositioning again.. Even after that, whenever I kept asking the clinic to talk, they never reply each time, and only occasionally give one reply when I keep asking, but even those replies put the blame on me. They ignore the patient, don't reply, and take no responsibility at all after surgery. When I asked the manager in charge how it made sense to be recommended fat repositioning again, they said you can get recommendations from another doctor too. Is it normal to have surgery in January and then be recommended surgery for the same area at another hospital in April..? I found that questionable. I'm still contacting the clinic now, but they keep ignoring me and not replying. I have plenty of time! If you want to get surgery here and then want revision surgery! I recommend a consultation! (And CCTV is mandatory, but when I requested CCTV, they refused, talking about the doctor's privacy, and saying it would only be disclosed if there's some problem + when they do surgery, they go back and forth while having consultations. They give anesthesia twice with a time gap, and I remember asking questions while I was waking up in between, but they weren't there.)
