Even from the consultation stage, I couldn’t judge what the director’s consultation style was like, because I had nothing to compare it with. I just went with my mom, but I didn’t get the impression that they were unfriendly. I myself am extremely satisfied with life after the surgery. I’ve tried short hair, and I also wear my hair in a bun, ponytail, or tucked behind my ears. I had no side effects at all after the surgery, ate well, and only couldn’t chew hard food. I recovered well enough to go back to school after one week. Of course, I used one week of school activity leave and rested lol And I went to school for three days wearing a hoodie and scarf because I was still bruised and swollen, but I could open my mouth well and even eat dakgangjeong, so none of my acquaintances knew I had had surgery. They just thought I lost some weight? Only my family knows, and even my family says it looks natural. Especially my younger sibling keeps saying, “Wasn’t the surgery not done well? You can’t tell at all,” and keeps saying what a waste of money it was, but I actually really like that it turned out naturally. I asked them to leave the jaw angle under the ear, and because I said I liked a round face, they made it round too, and after the surgery they even showed my mom the bone and the deep buccal fat muscle? or whatever that is. And I stayed in the hospital for one night because I went for surgery after school on Monday lol I kept saying that I was looking for the pretty nurse. After the surgery, the general anesthesia hadn’t worn off yet, and after my mom left, maybe because it was my first time under general anesthesia, my head really hurt. They kept coming to check on me, and when I said, “Aren’t you staying here because of me? Isn’t this annoying?” they said no, that not being in pain was the priority, so I should rest first and they would bring pumpkin porridge in a bit, and even held my hand. Even though it was two years ago, I still remember it, which is how kind I really thought they were.. And at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year, they contacted me regularly to ask me to come for a checkup. But around one year later, after all the swelling had gone down, it seemed a bit asymmetrical, so I asked the hospital, and they said to come in and take a CT? that picture showing the bones, so I went and took it and met the director for another consultation. But in the photo it didn’t look asymmetrical. The director showed me the pre-op photo and said it had originally been asymmetrical, and that the left side of my face was overall a bit higher, so it only looked that way, and that this wasn’t serious at all and nobody else would notice it, and that because it was my own face, it felt more serious to me. In fact, after I went on a diet, I felt like it wasn’t asymmetry at all lol And there was no nerve damage at all, no sagging skin yet, and the scar behind the ear isn’t visible at all. The reason I’m writing this in detail is that I’m really so satisfied with my life after this surgery, but I felt upset because the rating was low, so I’m writing this And there are many reviews saying it’s expensive, but honestly for me effect + safety always come before price, so I didn’t want to save money on the surgery cost. That’s why I even told my parents I would definitely pay back the surgery cost, that I’d work part-time and pay back half, so just pay half for me. So I paid it all back:) I didn’t want to gamble with safety just because of the price at another place. If I could go back, I would definitely do it here again.
