I know they do a lot of jaw surgeries. They said they’ve done over 10,000 cases. You can feel that when you consult with them. I was thinking about contouring, but I didn’t have any information about this hospital’s cheekbone surgery, so at the time I only consulted about the square jaw. They asked whether I had seen results from Botox, and when I said it was really good, they talked about muscle reduction and a curved line behind the ear. They were proud of it and explained the advantage of the behind-the-ear incision in terms of visibility, said it has a frontal effect, and that it would be done under sedation anesthesia. They also said they could shave more length from behind the ear. They said they would show me the bone and muscle right after surgery. There is a consultation fee. The advantage from the patient’s perspective with a behind-the-ear approach is not having to worry about eating. Swelling probably varies by person, and wherever you have the surgery, it seems similar. For jawbone style, if you choose curved or straight, they’ll match it. Since I was already doing square-jaw surgery, they recommended doing paranasal augmentation with my own bone and also cheekbones. For paranasal augmentation, they basically said just choose it, and for cheekbones their eyes were shining... Every time I look at my cheekbones, I can see the surgeons’ professionalism coming out. haha Looking at other people’s before-and-after cheekbone photos, it doesn’t seem bad though.. They said they haven’t been promoting much lately, so younger people don’t know them. If both are planned, they said square jaw first, then cheekbones. It seems pricing is a bit flexible these days. I don’t know if they’re still active now, but they were quite famous back then. They also seem to do jaw reconstruction if bone removal from elsewhere was excessive after surgery. During the consultation, they scanned over my face with some kind of 3D printer? Or scanner? It was like an iron over the face, which was novel.
