I decided to have surgery because my square jaw looked severe from the side. I work, and because I wanted to be as unpuffy as possible, I learned about the behind-the-ear jaw reduction. The recovery period was three days, I think, and they said I could go to work on Monday if I had surgery on Friday, so I went ahead right away. So I listened to him, and after the surgery I really thought it would not have looked good if I had done exactly what I wanted. After the swelling went down, my side profile really looked a lot different to me. Before and after, I still had angles, but the post-op result was definitely more harmonious and pretty But now that some time has passed, I’m thinking that even if you cut a little, there is still some sagging skin. So the skin under my ear is folding a lot, and I’m thinking of getting liposuction or some kind of firming treatment soon.
