I had also consulted at GdB, but this place seemed to focus more on philtrum reduction, so I decided on it. The swelling right after surgery was enormous. I don't know if it was just me, but all the staff kept saying my swelling was pretty severe. For about a month I could hardly open my mouth at all, to the point that daily life was impossible. By the second month I could open it enough to fit one finger. It hasn't even been a year and a half yet, but even though they keep providing free scar treatment, the scar has stayed the same since month 4. At my first consultation, they said it varies by person but would take about 6 months, but even after a year there was no noticeable improvement, so it's frustrating. They even said that after a year I should pause scar treatment for a while. I'm going crazy. Right now I can open it enough to fit three fingers, but it's still hard because it limits dental treatment.
