I only had my upper lip reduced, but the hospital staff kept telling me to come back for a post-op checkup right after surgery, so I went. They kept blocking me from meeting the doctor, which was a bit absurd, but I just wanted the doctor to check my progress (lol, obviously that's reasonable and that is lol). Still, the shape of my lips is better than before. And they said to get a scar tissue shot, but when I said I didn't want anything that would reduce it more, they said then let's do the minimum and injected it without even giving me a chance to answer, which felt wrong... I thought that if they had given me all the injections they suggested, my lips might have ended up uneven. Anyway, after lip reduction, once all the swelling has completely gone down, if you still have asymmetry, I recommend getting just a little injected into the uneven side~
