This was one of the most famous hospitals in Incheon, so I went with high expectations. The wait was short, only about 5 minutes, and I liked that I could consult directly with the doctor without a consultation fee. He recommended an incision, and when I said I wanted front corner correction, he looked and said it was possible. I asked about eye correction, and he said that although my eye-opening strength was not that good, I did not have much extra eyelid skin, so I sleep with my eyes open, and if I get eye correction, they may not close as well and could get dry. So in the end I decided on incision double eyelid surgery plus front corner correction. The doctor was honest and considered function too, and there was no overtreatment or pressure to book. However, he did not give me a clear alternative for the part I was worried about and instead left the decision to me, so I am thinking a little more about whether to go ahead with the surgery.
