It’s been so long since the surgery that I don’t really remember the hospital’s overall atmosphere, how kind they were, or the consultation... Just looking at the result of the surgery alone, it’s 4 stars. I only had an epicanthoplasty, but because my Mongolian fold was very severe before, the satisfaction afterward was huge. The 4 stars are not because the epicanthoplasty was ideally done, but simply because, in my case, the before-and-after difference was so dramatic that my relative satisfaction was high. If I have the time and money now, I do want to get it redone a bit. I have some scar tissue left. I remember bringing it up timidly because I had the surgery when I was in high school. Back then they said it would just disappear as I got older, but it’s stayed the same for years. If I had been an adult in the same situation, I think I would have complained strongly.
