It’s been about a month and a half since the surgery. They say if you mess with the philtrum the wrong way, it can become a triangular lip, but I haven’t had any shape change like that, and the scar is something I’ll need to keep watching after surgery, so I’m trying to manage it well by applying ointment. Originally I was going to put filler in the lip peak area to cover my flat philtrum, but I was worried it might become a duck mouth, so I also had philtrum hollowing done. It doesn’t seem like they aim to reduce things too aggressively. They adjusted it so it wouldn’t look awkward, looking at my forehead, midface, and chin proportions. I think it was a good idea to do the hollowing too.
