I tend to show weight gain in my upper arms and stomach before anywhere else, so this time I thought I'd just get everything tidied up at once and did both together. After surgery, it was better than I expected. For a few days, it was uncomfortable even to put strength into my arms, and bending at the waist because of my stomach was the most annoying part. Even putting on socks was a struggle because my body wouldn't fold like usual lol. Still, after a few days moving around definitely became easier, and the bruises faded faster than expected. Now, comparing with old photos, my upper arms clearly look less thick on the outside, and the feeling of my stomach sticking forward from the side has decreased a lot. I feel more that the volume occupied by my upper body has decreased than that my actual weight has changed. There are still some firm areas when I touch them, but I was told they soften as I recover, so I'm just waiting. So far, I'm doing well without anything to regret about the surgery.
