I had a consultation, and they explained what would happen if I got the procedure, what they would use, and what they would cut, and they also set up the kind of shape I could expect. But I also felt like if I didn't ask questions and lead the conversation myself, it ended rather quickly. If you're going, I think it's better to prepare your questions in advance. When I asked about hearing that things would loosen up, they said it wasn't that it loosened, but that the swelling went down and it settled lower? Hearing that, I was convinced. The manager who counseled me wasn't the super-affectionate type, but she was cool and kind. She asked if there was anything else I wanted to ask, and showed me photos of noses similar to mine, which I liked. If I do end up getting surgery, I think I'd do it here. Still, I wish the consultation had been a bit longer and that they had given me more confidence about my nose, because they didn't really say things like it would turn out well, so maybe that's honest, but it also made me more worried.
