This was a breast surgery clinic I had heard a lot about, so I applied for a consultation because I wanted to go at least once. Honestly, after I started taking an interest in breast surgery, I had strongly thought that if I ever did it, I would use Motiva implants, so I asked why they don’t use Motiva. They said it hasn’t been out for very long yet and there still aren’t enough papers published, so they want to wait and see longer first, which made me think they were a cautious person. At one clinic I was told that because smooth implants have a low fill rate, the risk of rippling is higher and the shape becomes a bit distorted? So I asked whether the risk of rippling really relates to the fill rate, and whether smooth and extra implants show rippling depending on fill rate? Or how should I put it? I asked about that, and they basically said that since I would be doing dual-plane anyway and the implants are blocked in between the muscles, there wouldn’t be a difference depending on the fill rate, and they spoke in the same way as the clinic I had heard that from, saying they don’t even understand why a place would say that. They also said that extra is priced a bit higher, so in their opinion it just feels a little like a money-maker. Hmm, it really feels like they work based on honesty.
