Around April 2020, I had a non-incisional double eyelid surgery done by Director Yang Jin-il at Ailead. I already had a faint double eyelid, but I wanted a clearer one, so I went ahead with the surgery. At that time it was my first cosmetic procedure and I was very nervous. Before coming to Ailead I had really consulted at about 10 plastic surgery clinics, but I still wasn’t sure, so I didn’t do it. Ailead was my last stop, and I felt confident there. At other places they said I had sunken eyes, that I absolutely had to get canthoplasty too, and that it had to be incisional or partial-incisional. Here, they said I could do just the non-incisional method I wanted, and the doctor seemed meticulous and confident, so I chose it. I don’t know how much it costs now, but at that time it was 670,000 won in cash, and the result was exactly what I wanted: my impression didn’t change much, it just became clearer. Friends also just asked if I’d suddenly gotten prettier or changed my makeup, and had no idea I’d had double eyelid surgery, which I liked. Fortunately, I didn’t end up with asymmetrical eyes either. I saw in other people’s reviews that the doctor was described as blunt, but for me he smiled a lot and was kind at the time. Maybe he just seemed that way because he didn’t talk much and was quiet... The counseling manager was kind, but there was some pressure to book, which I remember not liking. Anyway, overall I was satisfied with this place.
