I had a double-eyelid surgery together with a brow lift in April 2023 and it failed. I was told that the surgeries should be done one at a time, but they said doing them together would be good, so I did it, and after surgery I looked in the mirror and thought it was ruined. Even now my brows have scars and the shape has changed, and my eyes have sausage-like lids with mucosal eversion and wrinkled lines. I had revision surgery after 6 months, and this time the line was lowered, but the mucosal eversion stayed the same, and on one side the line is wrinkled so the line won’t fold in. I honestly hate myself for choosing this. The doctor feels like he thinks surgery is too easy and just does it recklessly. I’m desperately looking into other hospitals, but the doctors say it will be a difficult surgery and that the mucosal eversion may not fully return to normal. I’m depressed.
