I went with very high expectations because this place had a great word-of-mouth reputation, and after doing my own research I felt very strongly that I wanted to get surgery here. The reservation was also two weeks out. My first impression was that, probably because it was vacation season, there were so many people... honestly, it felt like a busy market. The hospital was big and nice, but it was packed, and given the situation at the time, it didn’t leave a very good impression. I waited about 20 minutes, and since I had booked a consultation with the director, I met with the surgeon. It was Dr. Kim, and maybe because there were so many people, he looked very tired... He was kind, but I got the sense he wanted to move things along quickly, and his preferred style didn’t quite match mine, so I was a little torn about surgery. (I wanted a subtle double eyelid line, but the doctor preferred a higher line if I was going to get cosmetic surgery anyway.) He also said my eye shape was different, so no matter what, my eyes would end up asymmetric. That might be interpreted differently by different people, but I found it convincing.. I paid 5,000 won when I left.
