오블리 — Review

Based on last year's clinic visits Doctor in charge: Dr. Kim Da-am Surgery is performed 2-3 times a day (10:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m.) He explains the surgery in detail and speaks in a gentle, caring style. Assessment of my nose: short nose, bulbous nose, slightly upturned nose, narrow glabella, low glabella, thick skin, a difficult nose. Surgical plan: custom silicone for the bridge, septal cartilage and posterior auricular cartilage for the tip. Bulbous nose (slightly scrape away some fatty tissue), short nose, and columella correction. No osteotomy. He said there is definitely some bony framework, but this can be solved by making custom silicone to match the bone. To improve the front view, he said silicone is recommended, about 2 to 3 mm, starting from the middle of the pupil. Since the glabella is narrow, he said not to put too much silicone between the brows. He said there was no need to raise the alae, and that it could be solved just by raising the tip and lowering the columella. He said my nose is quite crooked. He said surgery needs to be done while paying attention to height and width. Since the septal cartilage is not large, he would only remove a small amount and use it as a graft on the tip. He said he would shape the columella line using ear cartilage. Materials used in surgery: ear cartilage (one side), septal cartilage (not very large), custom silicone / no donor rib cartilage used. Overall impression: The doctor's aesthetics were similar to mine, and he seemed to dislike noses that are too artificial and too high. The hospital facilities felt luxurious and clean, so they seemed very good. The director was kind, but had a somewhat businesslike feel. Conclusion of consultation: The clinic consultation itself was good. But while I was visiting other clinics, I ended up getting the surgery at a different place
