It has been almost a year since I had square-jaw surgery. Honestly, I had surgery when I was 20 and they preserved some of the angles, and I thought that since they only shaved the square jaw and did not touch any other areas, there would not be any sagging, but there is sagging? or something like that? The bone that used to be there disappeared, so my jawline is gone. Still, it is much better than how square and blocky I looked before the surgery. Do not get surgery just to look slimmer. If your jaw is truly square and all you are thinking is, please just get rid of this bone.. then you will be truly satisfied! They kept the angle naturally, and I did not have any pain or aftereffects at all. The director and the staff were all kind. I ended up writing a lot, but I will wrap it up here. I hope everyone with square jaws can escape the boxy look.
