Nose Surgery review at Rideoseu (리더스) · Eyes and nose together · 2022-10-15

I got consultations about my eyes and nose with Director S. They took 9 photos before the consultation, and during the consultation they drew on the photos while explaining. For my nose, I wanted to fix the crooked nose, hump, and raise the bridge. The surgical method was to do an osteotomy from the inside without an incision, straighten the crooked nose, even out both sides, shave down the hump, and expected the bridge silicone to be 4 to 5 mm, but they said the silicone is placed while seeing the situation during surgery, so talking about it in advance is meaningless. For my eyes, they mentioned hidden double eyelids and eye correction. The surgery would be done under sleep anesthesia, and for the nose surgery they said only silicone would be used. If silicone had to be removed because of an inflammatory reaction from rejection, then if I came within a year they would remove it free of charge and do an ASD with dermis. The consultation with the director was overall detailed, but I got the strong impression that the manager was holding back a lot during the consultation. They said the crooked columella might not be correctable, there could be inflammation, the nostrils would remain uneven, and even if I got double eyelid surgery it could loosen, so they were very cautious. From the impression I got, it felt like they had received quite a few complaints from patients. I also felt that the attitude toward patients before and after surgery would be quite different, and when signing the pre-op consent forms, I felt that if I didn't read carefully, it could be quite unfavorable for the patient. Also, because the surgery would be done under sleep anesthesia, it bothered me that I wouldn't know what kind of silicone and how many millimeters would be inserted without discussing it with the patient. The facility and consultation friendliness were okay, but as for surgical expectations.. well. Personally, I don't feel positive about it.
