I went to Gwangju to get double-eyelid surgery and had it done there. My eyes were uneven, so I asked whether double-eyelid surgery or ptosis correction could fix that a bit, but they said the unevenness caused by my skull structure couldn’t be fixed by double-eyelid surgery, which I accepted. I also asked whether I could do ptosis correction, but the doctor said it probably wasn’t necessary, so I didn’t. I think it’s good that they don’t inflate the cost by recommending unnecessary surgery just to be ethical. Even after the surgery, my eyes were still uneven, but since they looked a bit prettier than before the surgery, I decided to be satisfied.
