Eye Surgery review at Hanmi (한미) · Under-eye fat repositioning · 2022-05-20

I wanted to get a consultation because a lot of people talked about under-eye fat repositioning, but there wasn't anything convenient like KakaoTalk consultation, so I booked by phone. I already had a bad feeling from the voice of the staff who answered the phone, and it was confirmed when I visited the hospital. I mean, the unpleasantness was somehow very strongly felt.. This was a place I visited after already getting consultations at about two other places for under-eye fat repositioning. There was absolutely no explanation of how the surgery would be done, and they said, "It's hard to explain anyway~ For example, if you go to a shop that sells many kinds of fruit, I came to buy grapes, but you're saying it's like apples," then made a strange analogy about how every plastic surgery clinic explains the method differently (So how exactly do you do the surgery here...) Still, they kept looking at my face from different angles and checking how it looked when I smiled, and said things like fat grafting would be useless and that repositioning alone could make it pretty enough, so I did trust them on avoiding overtreatment, but they emphasized confidence in the surgery only and gave far too little detailed explanation about the method and post-op care. At the end, I had a wrap-up consultation with the coordinator, and just sat for a moment on the chair I had been waiting on when I first entered the clinic. They only told me the price and that stitches would be removed three days after surgery, and that was it. It felt too half-hearted? And like they were rushing me out without giving me any chance to ask more questions
