I had double eyelid surgery with the buried-suture method, and they said it would be good to do epicanthoplasty too, so I had that done together. For the first few months it seemed fine, but I didn't like the line, and now it's been about 4 years and one side has loosened. I don't like the epicanthoplasty either.. I need revision surgery, but I don't think I would do it here.
