I had nose surgery 10 years ago. During the consultation, they said they would use Gore-Tex, but after the surgery, I found out silicone had been inserted, and when I asked, they said they thought that would be better, so they did it that way. Honestly, my nose is small, so it was bound to show, and I accepted that. A few years later, I developed contracture and had another surgery at a different hospital.
