When you arrive, you fill out a questionnaire with things like points for improvement, things you don't like, and celebrity names. Unlike other hospitals, they don't take photos in advance. In the doctor's office, they only take a side-view photo on an iPad and then consult. The doctor palpated my nose and said it would be open rhinoplasty, and the materials would be silicone, septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and costal cartilage. He said they would all be used, not just opened and then not used. To my question about scars, he said even celebrities have them, and that there is CCTV, but it has to be requested before surgery. He also said my desired nose shape would be difficult to achieve, and that this seems to be a limit based on each person's nose shape. The problem is the cost. Since this is my first surgery, and after seeing a post from another person saying they had thought the surgeon would handle a crooked nose on their own, but because it wasn't improved they had it removed, I wrote crooked nose as the first item on the questionnaire. Then they told me there is a possibility it could bend back because of the tendency to return after surgery, and when I came out and heard the price I was shocked. A quote of 5.5 million won when other hospitals quoted in the 2 to 3 million won range (with functional nose surgery added) was ridiculous. They said there are no review events or discounts, but they would take off about 100,000 won for medicine, yet the price is still way too high. For reference, the consultation fee is 5,000 won, and parking is free for only 30 minutes.
