I had the surgery during winter break in my second year of high school, and back then natural-looking double eyelids were in style, so I didn’t shop around much and just had the surgery because a friend said they did natural-looking surgeries well. Back then I had local anesthesia without sedation, and the injection in my eye hurt so much that I don’t remember anything, except the smell of squid being grilled. During the consultation, they didn’t make any unnecessary recommendations, and if you look at people who had the surgery, the lines all seem pretty much the same. I had an incisional surgery, and before 2 years had passed one side came undone, so I had revision surgery. I managed to hide it with eyelash extensions because of the uneven lines and the scar from before the revision, but after 8 years I’m now looking into revision surgery again
