Eye Surgery review at Diem (디엠) · Lateral canthoplasty · 2021-09-18

I went to a few places for canthoplasty consultations, and after hearing the price and feeling that the consultation wasn't burdensome, I had surgery here a few years ago. The prettiest time was the one week after surgery, right before the stitches were removed. The swelling was minimal, and there was conjunctival edema, but.... After the stitches came out, it gradually started to reattach, and by one month I was wondering whether this had even been a canthoplasty. I had told them that I hated visible red flesh and preferred a natural result, and I also showed before-and-after photos. Then as time passed, it ended up completely reattaching. After a year, there was no trace at all and my eyes went back to the way they were. While I was looking into a revision, there are times when I ask people who had good results for information, and it turned out someone I asked had this procedure done here. Whether this is case-by-case or because I didn't do lower canthoplasty, or because the fixation wasn't good, it's a mystery. There was no D-shape or other side effect, but I completely wasted my 690,000 won. (As of 2022... when I look in the mirror, one eye has become slightly U-shaped. It's not to the point where reconstruction is awkward, but if it gets weird later, I think I'll have to have surgery again. Compared with how my eye corners looked back when I had no double eyelids, they're clearly different.... Maybe there wasn't enough orbital bone space, or even though I asked for a natural result, they opened it a bit too much and slightly invaded the gray line.. Or maybe the fleshiness of my eyes is just insanely strong lol Looking at the photo from when I had no double eyelids and the photo taken ten days after surgery here, it's clear the outer corner got blocked and stuck together. But I saw a recent YouTube video because it came up in the algorithm, and they said that would never happen What is it~)
