I had a lower outer canthoplasty (bang canthoplasty) in early 2021. Because the surgery used non-dissolvable sutures, I needed to visit the clinic to have them removed. As of April 2022, it feels like my eyes have mostly returned to how they were before. The inner mucosal area at the outer corner of my eye was opened by the incision, which bothers me a little. I don’t really have any side effects, but I’m a bit disappointed that the effect is so slight.
