I went in for a consultation because I wanted to correct my natural double eyelids, which were uneven. One eye had an outer line and the other had an in-out line, but compared with the outer line, the in-out side looked very stuffy. I wanted to have surgery only on the in-out side, but they refused, saying it would be hard to match symmetry if only one side was done. They recommended natural adhesion and stitching both sides, and said there was no need for canthoplasty, just to define the line. Another place had said I needed front canthoplasty, but when they explained it as the inner corner line being covered differently from the other side, it did seem like that. I felt there was no over-treatment. But during the conversation with the manager or staff member, the vibe was kind of off for me, so I passed in the final decision.
