I already had double eyelids, but because my Mongolian fold was severe, the front part of my eyes was hidden when looking from the front, so I went in for a consultation for upper canthoplasty + double-eyelid surgery. The doctor consultation lasted about 10 minutes, so it wasn’t long, but he repeatedly set the line and gave a detailed diagnosis. I liked that he asked me to take off my mask as soon as the consultation started and looked at the harmony of my whole face. He said I do have the ability to open my eyes, but when I’m not conscious of it, I have a dull-looking way of opening them, so he recommended non-incisional ptosis correction. He did not recommend upper canthoplasty, saying it would make me look older. The director’s consultation was also very kind and everything was good, but I think ptosis correction should not be done unless there is a functional defect, so I won’t have surgery here.
