First I applied for a consultation after seeing an ad on a community site. The ad price was for one eye. I had read a lot of reviews first, so the consultation felt more like the level of knowledge I already had rather than something professional. The consultation went counselor -> doctor -> counselor, and the doctor’s consultation was brief, with photos taken, displayed, and looked at. During surgery I had to keep my eyes open, and because I couldn’t get sedation anesthesia it hurt a lot. For two weeks afterward, my eyes stung terribly. The ad said I could go back to daily life right away, but I had swelling, bruising, and conjunctival edema, so I couldn’t really live normally (I guess this varies by person). The swelling went down and I was satisfied for about three months, but then it gradually started feeling like it was getting glued in. In the end, it’s been about 6 months now and it has only opened up slightly. If I don’t say I had surgery, no one would know.. It did open up a little, though. I hope it doesn’t get any more stuck.
