I think it is just this clinic's system: after the consultation, they seem to make you pay a deposit and set the surgery date first. I had no intention of doing that even if I did not get a discount, but they said they would give a full refund, and the consultation coordinator even had me set a date avoiding the holiday so I could get the refund easily? As long as they gave a 100% refund, I was fine with it; the consultation was okay and I liked it, so I paid the deposit and left. When consulting with the doctor, the line I was aiming for
