I arrived before the consultation, was shown into a room 10 minutes later, and while waiting there for 30 minutes, they told me midway to pay the consultation fee first—first shock. After the coordinator consultation, I consulted the surgeon. The surgeon spoke softly, but their manner seemed insincere. When I said I wanted surgery so the outer corner of my eye would not close, they said, “Then you need to cut it all the way open,” which was my second shock. Why that had to be done, in relation to my eyeball structure or skin issues, for example, should have been explained more specifically
