I really wish I could go back to the time when I knew nothing and just blindly booked general anesthesia here for my first nose surgery. In the end, I’m living well now after a revision surgery with no complications, but 6 years ago, after surgery with Dr. Choi, my life went to hell. Maybe because it’s a factory-style place, I don’t know if they use shadow doctors, but it was a CCTV viewing consent case, and they didn’t even explain that. They just suddenly restrained me the moment I lay down in the operating room and started the surgery. No recovery room? I recovered on the operating table while listening to the sound of bones being shaved. Next to me, at another operating table, I heard someone who had contouring, nose, and eye surgery crying and gasping as they recovered, plus the sounds of surgery, and it was terrifying. Up to here, fine, I guess. But after surgery here, both nostrils got completely blocked, I had functional breathing problems + silicone moved around + the tip of the nose didn’t improve and became protruded like a hump. Two years later, I had it removed at a specialized removal hospital. For the first surgery, they clearly said they wouldn’t use mesh and would use septal cartilage, but during the removal surgery, septal cartilage + some unidentified material came out. The doctor who performed the surgery said my nose had become like rice cake. This was the worst surgery of my life.
