I haven't had surgery yet, but since I had a lot of scarring, they recommended excision. The doctor also drew the line for me, which was nice, and since a friend had had it done there, after the consultation I somehow felt reassured. They explained everything in detail, which was very helpful. The surgery result is still pending!
