ㅂㅣㅇ Originally they said I would only consult with the coordinator, but then they suddenly called and said they would change it to a consultation with the director. The overall atmosphere felt like a large hospital, with lots of people and cozy lighting. There was a waiting time, but it was shorter than other places. I had a CT first and then took photos. It was the only hospital that did a CT. Consultation proceeded in the order coordinator -> director -> coordinator. The coordinator said I needed cartilage tying + raising the nose tip + smoothing the hump on the bridge + silicone + nostril reduction + osteotomy, basically suggesting everything they could. I wasn't even thinking about osteotomy, so I was a little taken aback.. (I heard ㅂㅣㅇ recommends unnecessary things too, and it really seems true..) Here, among the various doctors, there is only one director specializing in noses, and they said the surgery is very meticulous and careful, so it takes a long time. Director's estimate: narrow and lift the nose tip, reduce the nostrils, shave off the very slight hump on the bridge, then use an implant = 350. They said osteotomy isn't necessary, and that they would use ear cartilage and septal cartilage for the tip, and because the tip shouldn't end up too high, they would put silicone from the glabella area to the point where the hump was shaved. If I don't want silicone, they would do it with ear cartilage, but it might not be enough, so they said they'd probably need to use it together with another implant. When I asked about side effects, he confidently said he had never seen a single case of complications. He said if you can't do the pig-nose test, or if the nose tip is hard, or if you dislike the design after surgery, those could count as complications too, but he had never once seen complications.. When I directly asked whether they do AS if there are complications, if the improvement is insufficient, or if I don't like the result, he didn't answer with a clear yes or no and instead brought up other cases. But it seems like that's this director's speaking style: leading me toward what he means by asking questions like, "Don't you think it's like this?" While doing that, not giving a clear answer on an important and sensitive topic like AS and instead speaking in a roundabout way was annoying, so I asked, "Ah, so you won't do it?" and he got flustered and said they would.. Seeing that, my trust dropped just a little. However, compared to the other 4 hospitals, he explained things more kindly and in greater detail by looking at the CT and photos and even using Photoshop, so I liked that.
