I had my first incision double-eyelid surgery here. They said they did incisional surgery plus ptosis correction, but it was an out-line, and for a while I looked like a sausage before it eventually loosened, so I ended up going to Seoul and having revision surgery 3 years later. But during the consultation, I went with my mom, and because I apparently didn't look much like her, they said something like, "Is she really your biological daughter?" with the implication that my mom wasn't pretty, and I still remember feeling bad about that. Even though my eyes had become sausage-like, they kept saying things like it would get better with time. From the start, they hadn't told me not to do an out-line, and both the doctor and staff had said it would suit me and be fine, so I went ahead with it. But I still wonder whether they really did the ptosis correction, because when I went to Seoul for revision surgery, I had ptosis correction done again, and now, 4 years later, it still hasn't loosened and my eyes look bright and alert.
