It feels like a factory-style clinic. The consultant said it was hard to book [Doctor A] and urged me to book that same day, so I was swept along and paid a deposit, but canceled the appointment. Rather than looking at the harmony of my eyes and face to decide what to do, it felt like I was expected to fit into the director's signature combination of buried-suture double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, and epicanthoplasty. They said I did not necessarily need ptosis correction, but that doing it would make the double-eyelid line clearer. No other clinic had ever told me to get ptosis correction. It really felt like they strongly recommended something I probably did not need.
