I had nose surgery elsewhere before, but as time passed, the nasal tip dropped and I was disappointed with the lack of definition from the front, so I had been deliberating over revision surgery. I decided to at least go for a consultation, so I went. My first surgery had been made too natural, so this time I wanted a line where the before-and-after difference would be clear. I got a CT scan and consulted with the surgeon. They thoroughly explained the condition of the cartilage remaining in my nose and my nasal situation. I brought several photos of lines I wanted and showed them, and they clearly told me the height possible given my skin condition and the limit at which it could become overly upturned if pushed too far. Rather than saying that everything was possible, they clearly presented materials suited to my conditions, which gave me confidence. I also brought a long list of questions, and they explained things well without seeming annoyed (I had previously encountered places that seemed tired of me asking many questions..) Since this is revision surgery, I had more worries than with the first surgery, but it was a consultation that gave me hope for revision. The surgeon also seems to have long experience with noses and many revision cases, so it was a place I felt drawn to. I plan to compare other places too.
